PIVIT SANDSET™ is a pre-blended sand cement topping mix of Portland cement and finely graded sand, engineered for durable concrete overlays, repairs, and bedding applications at thicknesses from 1.3 cm (1/2 in) to 5 cm (2 in). Finish it smooth or texture it for slip resistance. Achieves 35 MPa (5000 psi) and is walkable in ~24 hours. Packaged in a 30 kg (66 lb) bag.

SANDSET™ is a high-quality, pre-blended sand cement topping mix consisting of Portland cement and finely graded natural sand. It's engineered for durable concrete overlays, repairs, and bedding applications where a thickness of 5 cm (2 in) or less is required. SANDSET™ can be finished to a smooth surface or textured for slip resistance, providing a versatile and reliable solution for a wide range of projects.
Preparation, Mixing & Application
For new construction, ensure the application area is free from dust, oil, grease, or any material that can inhibit bonding. For concrete repairs and overlays, clean the existing surface to SSD condition (saturated surface-dry: damp with no standing water) and apply BONDFX™ before placing. Mix each 30 kg bag with 4.0 L (4.25 qt) of potable water manually in a wheelbarrow or mortar box, or mechanically in a drum mixer, until uniform with no dry pockets. Place and consolidate to full depth, screed level, and finish only after bleed water has evaporated. Use a float trowel for a smooth surface or a broom/brush for texture. If placed over existing joints, tool the material directly over them to a minimum of half the applied thickness. Maintain ambient and material temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C (40 °F and 86 °F) for at least 24 hours before and 48 hours after application.
