Role Overview
As an Inside Sales Associate you are responsible for ensuring that all customer orders, quotes, and inquiries are managed and processed in a timely fashion. This role is a front-line customer service role with a focus on serving a wide range of consumers within the construction and industrial markets. The incumbent will be required to work 5 days per week within the branch in an office setting.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete the order process which includes offering product information, pricing terms, and product sourcing all while maintaining an understanding of customers’ requirements.
  • Work within a sales group setting including outside sales, counter staff, and procurement team members to facilitate a smooth and efficient sales flow.
  • Must be comfortable proactively contacting customers to close and complete quotes, sales orders, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Work with various warehouse and logistic departments to fulfill customer order expectations and requests.
  • Work with the purchasing team and vendors to secure and source special order and non-stocked material.
  • Highly motivated and work well under pressure to meet deadlines with the possibility of difficult and emotional customer interactions.
  • Identify up-selling and add-on sales opportunities while effectively communicating product features, benefits, and warranty information.
  • Provide assistance and support to the counter sales staff during busy periods or absences of co-workers.
  • Some other duties as required.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Highly motivated with a positive work ethic.
  • 5 years or more of previous work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong product knowledge of building, industrial, maintenance, and/or safety materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superior organizational skills and effective time management ability.

Role Overview
As a Warehouse & Merchandising Associate you will be responsible for various hands-on warehouse duties as well as inventory replenishment and maintenance within our warehouse and storefront as required. This role requires the individual to carefully and precisely fulfill customer orders and be a part of our receiving process to manage, stock, and display incoming inventory for sale.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders, restocking items, and accurately keeping track of inventory.
  • Assist with the safe and accurate loading of materials ordered to customer vehicles.
  • Unloading of inbound orders of inventory from couriers, tractor trailers, and our own fleet of delivery vehicles.
  • Restocking shelves and displays with product for sale and ensuring they are maintained and visually appealing.
  • Maintain merchandising standards that comply with company and brand standards.
  • Consider asset protection and loss prevention with effective placement and communicating areas of risk.
  • The position involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time.
  • The position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Some other duties as required.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • General understanding of hardware and industrial supplies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of order picking and/or merchandising experience.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and in group setting.
