Chapin’s 8740A 64-ounce hand shaker is available for year-round use. It’s not limited to salt and ice melt. You can use this from spring to fall for seed and fertilizers and throughout winter for salt, ice melt and sand. Our 8740A hand shaker spreader is designed to go in areas where a standard spreader can’t go. It easy to operate with one hand, with or without gloves. There’s less wear parts and simple twist to change openings based on your material. You can even store it with ice melt, salt, seed or fertilizer in it and it stands upright on a shelf.

• 64-ounce bottle: high-capacity poly bottle with a wide opening and easy screw top, quickly remove the lid to add your preferred seed, salt, fertilizer, etc. and simply screw back into place
