It’s designed and built for professionals and is simple enough for a homeowner to use as a salt spreader for their driveway. The large, 2-piece hopper design with a T-handle with grips, is supported on a stainless steel frame. Solid steel linkage for full gate control and a spiked auger help move salt and tear through clumps. The 14-inch pneumatic tires cover just about any terrain and the baffle system controls the spread pattern. Protective rain/snow cover included. This unit is not recommended for use with rock salt, sand, or sand mixes, lime, pelletized lime and lime mixes.
