MSA 80 C-B Battery Chainsaw: Powerful, quiet and versatile chainsaw made for general yard maintenance and firewood cutting The powerful, versatile and easy-to-use STIHL MSA 80 C-B battery chainsaw is ideal for general yard maintenance and firewood cutting. The STIHL MSA 80 C-B works with batteries from the STIHL AK system, and is so quiet that you can work without hearing protection and use the saw in noise-sensitive areas. You can reliably carry out clean and smooth cuts. The low weight of the system and the powerful, energy-efficient EC engine ensure optimum balance and the necessary power. You can use the control lever to continuously adjust the speed of your battery chainsaw. A rubberised softgrip handle gives you a good grip, great working comfort and increases ergonomics. The MSA 80 C-B battery chainsaw features STIHL quick chain adjuster for safe and easy chain tensioning without tools. The additional QuickStop Super chain brake increases your safety, as the saw chain stops immediately when you let go of the rear handle. You can keep an eye on the oil level at all times with the transparent oil tank. Note: You can only use the full range of functions of this battery chainsaw with a STIHL AK 30 S battery installed. If other STIHL batteries are used, we can neither guarantee that all functions will be available nor that the maximum possible sawing performance will be achieved. Set includes AK 30 S battery and AL 101 charger.

• RE-TENSION THE SAW CHAIN TOOL-FREE. Thanks to STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, you can tension your saw chain quickly and without tools, thanks to the adjusting wheel. Turning the adjusting wheel to the left releases tension on the saw chain, and turning the adjustment wheel to the right tensions the saw chain. The guide bar will be automatically secured when you tighten the sprocket cover.
• QUICK AND EASY TO USE. With tool-free fuel cap, you can open and close oil and fuel tanks in just a few simple steps, thanks to a bayonet closure.
• TWO HANDED OPERATION ENSURES COMFORTABLE WORK. Your STIHL chainsaw has an ergonomically shaped handle and a comfortable rear control handle with soft components. Thanks to this two-handed operation, you can work comfortably, effortlessly and safely in all positions.
• TRANSPARENT OIL TANK : MAKES FILL-LEVEL MONITORING EASY. With the transparent oil tank, you can easily and quickly check the fill level of the chain oil. This means that you always know when you need to add chain oil for efficient work over long periods.
• INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. The power tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your power tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.
